Keep it on the tablet
The guide is a single file. Once you have saved it, it opens with no signal — which is the only time you are likely to need it.

- Android puts it in Downloads
- Open it from there any time, aeroplane mode included
It remembers where you stopped reading, has a day and night mode, and you can search it. Nothing is sent anywhere — it is a file on your tablet, not a website pretending to be one.
Kept current
It changes when the app changes
The guide is rebuilt whenever a screen or a button changes in LorryMate, so what you see on the page is what you see on the tablet. If you find a step that no longer matches the app, that is a bug in the guide and I want to hear about it.
The guide is also honest about the same things the app is honest about — where a postcode only gets you close, where the sign at the bridge overrules the screen, and where a restriction card is about “except for access” rather than a physical obstruction.
